Aaj Ki Aawaz

In the Ruchika case which involves an ex DGP justice like Ruchika has been molested!
And hopefully the Court literally letting off the ex DGP will be contested!!!
Imagine just a 6 months sentence despite molestation and harassment being established!
Really via this judgment justice has been demolished!!!

And Ruchika committed suicide because of what she faced!!!!
Justice truly has been defaced!!!
It’s another case of the high and mighty being let off!!!
At the Judgment Media and Public karr rahe hai scoff!!!
Congress is spoiling MNS and its Boss rotten!!!!
Too brazen Raj has gotten!!!
Now his MNS workers have targeted Pilgrims Sidhi Vinayak ke outside!!!
I don’t think in Ganesh Ji’s Darbaar there is consideration of ‘outside and inside’!!!
Whether you come from Maharashtra or outside!!!!
All are welcome Sidhi Vinayak ke inside!!!
The way Raj is going he’ll get slapped by someone not because of the 1 Crore inaam!
For his bullying ways he’ll pay the daam (price)!!!
Post Climate Change meet US says it will hold India accountable!!!!
Whereas fact is as the agreement is not binding all are unaccountable!!!!
Seems US interprets the ‘no Deal’ as a Deal but how does it feel it can police!!!
Where is it written that we are the suspects and US is the Police?????

Consulting does not mean enforcement!!!
Seems by the White House the meaning for local consumption is being bent!!
But India needs to implement measures to at least tackle climate change outfall!!!
Now is the time to take the call!!!
Turning to solar energy, water harvesting and greening should be done on a war footing!!!
Because climate change outfall will give us a severe booting!!!
We have to start treating water as if it is Blue Gold!!!!
Not like the water of old!!!
Rahul needs to take up a Cabinet berth!!!!
As an Administrator he needs to prove his worth!!!
This ‘enjoying power without any responsibility is wrong and needs to be corrected'!!!
By becoming a Mantri does not mean from Public he'll be disconnected!!!
Okay he wants to show he’s in no hurry to get an ‘Ministerial post’!!!!
Despite being made a Mantri he can still continue to be Public’s dost!!!!
He did a right thing by not being present to accept the IBN award ‘ Neta of the Year’!!!!
Though his recorded ‘thank you’ we did get to hear!!!

Ghadkari now has the unenviable job of getting 'BJP Leaders to obey'!!!!
Ghadkari is a foodie they say!!!

So he can organize breakfasts, lunches and dinners!!!!
And get through to the 'disobedient sinners'!!!

With Munde being made Sushma's Deputy the message is clear,
End to infighting in BJP is 'nowhere near'!!!!

Modi has got support from Laloo 'on voting being made mandatory'!!!!!
And if Laloo could he'd make voting for RJD obligatory!!!

Laloo demands change in a jiffy so as to suit him and his Party!!!!
In making and denying demands Laloo's really very arty!!!

Montek says inflation will fall by Jan 2010 more fib from Montek!!!
Isn't it time that a put his job at stake!!

If inflation does not stop hurting by Jan 2010 he'll resign!!!
At present inflation ebbing ka there is no sign!!!

Fruits that were sold by the dozen are now priced by weight!!!!
And very soon the good ole banana will be sold by weight just you wait!!

Imagine potatoes that are bought at 2/ Kg from the Farmer are priced at Rs. 13/Kg in retail!!!
That's why I say Sarkaar's aim to benefit Farmers ho gayi hai fail!!

Confucius says... what is needed is plug the leaks from farm to Mandi or Shop!!!
Curb profits being made my middlemen and retailers and on hoarding Sarkaar should ruthlessly stop!!

I belong to Railways. Division of states will not be beneficial to the states and its people. But as far as class I officers are concerned it would be very beneficial. The best example is Railway. The division of Zones (16 out of 9) has created so many higher posts. All the senior post of a zone have become multiplied by 16 instead of nine. The efficiency has no difference. The staffs have suffered. No increase in staff strength, rather decreased. If management is possible with less staff then why not less officers. Outsourcing - new mantra - is very dangerous. Efficiency, reliability etc have gone down like anything. It is very important to see which should be outsourced and what not. If outsourced - how it will be supervised. Cutting cost is important. But it is also important to see the practicality. We are heading towards a dangerous situation. Please remember outsourcing of Managers is also possible. Create sense of responsibility. Due to lack of that we are outsourcing. But outsourcing is creating further problem in the same direction.
PESB   needs to be more transparent than vainglorious!!!
t is astonishing to see the PESB still clinging to its twentieth century mindset of secrecy by delaying its recommendations to administrative ministries, not by hours, but by days! This artificial delay by the PESB Secretariat is irrational leading to avoidable suspicion in the minds of public sector aspirants fearing/alleging last minute tinkering with the Board’s recommendations on orders of higher Authorities. What is the harm in being transparent? Not to be misunderstood, while I was Secretary PESB towards the end of last century under the successive Chairmanship of N Vittal (who later rose to become CVC) and T K A Nair presently Principle Secretary to PM, the practice of displaying  PESB’s recommendations on its notice board within half an hour of interviews was experimented. This was hugely successful. But, the same was given up soon on requests of administrative ministries who perceived it as a threat to their importance! However, the practice of forwarding PESB’s recommendations to ministries within an hour of interviews continued. Against this background, the present practice of PESB Secretariat delaying   Board’s recommendations for days together for no valid reason sounds monopolistic. This is an anachronism in the present age of transparency where information is meant to be shared rather than ‘sold’ to a select few! Let the Board review the functioning of its Secretariat. This is with malice towards none.
A K SAXENA (A retired civil servant)
"Food security for MPs"
I compliment A K Saxena for his column. This was in syncronisation with the Aaj ki Aawaz of 21st and 22nd December,09.It is indeed shameful for MPs to enjoy such lavish 5-star lunches and dinners@Rs12.50 per thaali. Impossible and unbelievable! They also get several freebies in the form of telephones, transport, Air journeys, electricity, rent-free government houses etc. Thanks for this bold exposure.
Vedvrat Sharma
Exposing our opportunistic MPs
I thank A K Saxena and your bold website for exposing our opportunistic MPs for enjoying 5-star meals in Parliament House for a meagre amount. They are a liability for the country. If democracy allows this wasteful expenditure, then dictatorship is better. I feel sad as an Indian.
