IAS officers have been reshuffled in Meghalaya. Abhilash Baranwal has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, (DC), East Khasi Hills, while Rosetta Mary Kurbah is shifted as Secretary, Home (Police) and Tourism and Dr Abhishek Saini will take charge as DC, Ri-Bhoi. Similarly, Barnali Mawlong is posted as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; Aitinolin L Mawlong as DC, South West Khasi Hills; Sampath Kumar gets additional charge as Principal Resident Commissioner, Meghalaya House, New Delhi; M R Synrem, Principal Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat will also hold charge of Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administration Department, Health & Family Welfare Department and Additional Development Commissioner, New Delhi; Sanjay Goyal is posted as Resident Commissioner, New Delhi; Dr. Pooja Pandey gets additional charge of Cooperation and Chairperson, Meghalaya State Warehousing Corporation; Cyril V D Diengdoh, Commissioner & Secretary, Personnel & A R and Home (Police), was also assigned charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Commerce & Industries; Richa Kulkarni was appointed as Deputy Secretary, Planning; S C Sadhu, Secretary, Forest & Environment and Fisheries, is relieved of his charge as Secretary, Fisheries Department; Swapnil Tembe, Secretary, Finance, will also hold charge of Secretary, Fisheries; Barnari Mawlong, is shifted as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; T G Momin, Secretary, Personnel & A R Department and Secretary, Meghalaya Farmers’ Empowerment Commission is relieved of his responsibilities as Secretary, Meghalaya Farmers’ Empowerment Commission; Mrs Rikse R Marak, Joint Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Principal Director, Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) will also function as Joint Secretary, Lok Bhawan, Tura; Mrs Ibashisha Mawlong was posted as Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Richard Yanthan, Deputy Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Departments and Registrar of Cooperative Societies is relieved of his function as Deputy Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department.
