Centre approves six months extension in service for TN Chief Secretary, Sai Kumar

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has on Wednesday approved the proposal of Tamil Nadu government for an extension in service for six months to Chief Secretary Dr. M. Sai Kumar (IAS TN:1990) with effect from September 1, 2026. The term of Dr. Sai Kumar was likely to end on August 31, 2026.
