Tushar Mehta gets re-appointment as Solicitor General for 3 years

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the re-appointment of Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta for a further term of three years with effect from July 1, 2026. 

Tushar Mehta is completing 8 years as Solicitor General. He is on course to become the longest serving SG Sr. Adv. CK Dapthary who had a tenure of 13 years.
