Two IPS officers in Tamil Nadu brought under compulsory wait

Two senior IPS officers in Tamil Nadu have been brought under compulsory wait at the office of Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai. They are: A Arun (1998 batch), currently ADGP/Director, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, Chennai and N Kannan (2002 batch), currently IGP/Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, Coimbatore. Meanwhile, IPS Rajeev Kumar, DGP, Training, will hold full additional charge (FAC) of the post held by A Arun and Mrs R V Ramya Bharati, IGP, West Zone, Coimbatore, will hold FAC of the post held by N Kannan.
