Seven IPS officers have been assigned new responsibilities in Telangana. Shikha Goel has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Home Department,  and will continue to hold additional charges as Director, Cyber Security Bureau and Director, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), while Devendra Singh Chauhan will take charge as DG (Vigilance & Enforcement) and Ex-Officio, PS, GAD. Similarly, Shahnawaz Qasim will be posted as IGP, Multi-Zone II, Hyderabad with full additional charge (FAC) of IGP, Personnel; Dr Tarun Joshi as Commissioner of Police, Future City; Avinash Mohanty as DG, Drugs Control Administration and Director, Prohibition & Excise with FAC of Director, ACB; Ms B Sumathi as Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri and Kartikeya joins as IGP, Intelligence with FAC of IGP, SIB, Intelligence.
